Thanks for visiting my blog.  I am going to chart my conversion experience as I join the One, Holy, and Apostolic, Catholic Church.  Other than that I am just a 36 y/o guy living in Texas.

Well, I am 37 now.  1 year has made a lot of difference.  On March 31, 2013, I entered into full communion with the Catholic Church.  I am excited about the decision I made, and the prospect of a lifetime of learning.  At this point, I figure if I miss learning it now, I will have all eternity in the afterlife to catch up.  As I move forward and delve deeper, I look forward to sharing with others the things I learn.

A little more about me:

I have 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 3  4 fish.  I love plants and gardening.  I chose Francis as my confirmation name. (St. Francis of Assisi, surprised?)

I love Jesus with every ounce of my soul.

I live in Bedford, TX.  I work as an administrative assistant in a hospital in Arlington, TX.  I attend St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Arlington, TX.

I love to blog and read.  Someday, I would like to write good poetry.  In the meantime, I write bad poetry.

The biggest conflict in my life is reconciling my right and left brain.  The pastoral side and the apologist side.  I personally hope the pastoral side wins, it is much more compassionate.  My cross I carry is living as a celibate gay male.

If you want to know more just ask.  I am happy to share my life and what God has given me with others.
